This project will conduct a review and revision of the following qualifications as well as the units of competency within these qualifications.
Current work practices within pest control have changed, resulting in the Certificate III (CPP30119) and Certificate IV (CPP41619) in Urban Pest Management no longer addressing the knowledge and skilling needs of the industry.
The outcomes of this project will be fit for purpose qualifications that will assist with the establishment of skilled and capable Urban Pest Management Technicians.
A Technical Committee has been established to provide expert advice, identify any impacts on learners, and possible implementation issues. The Technical Committee members will also identify any additional stakeholders that should be included in the consultation strategy to assist with this project.
