Transition time nearing for CPC packages

At the end of the month, several key qualifications in the building and construction sector will reach their cut-off point under extensions granted by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).

This will impact the following qualifications, which were granted an extension until 31 January 2024:

• CPC32413 Certificate III in Plumbing

• CPC30211 Certificate III in Carpentry

• CPC40110 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building)

• CPC50210 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building)

It’s also worth remembering that CPC31511 Certificate III in Formwork/Falsework has been granted an extension until 31 December 2024.

RTOs that deliver these products will need to transition existing students into the replacement training product and enrol new students into the qualifications which superseded the old qualifications.
